About us
Julie Weisenberger is a knitwear designer and likes to knit herself
whenever she has a minute to do so. Since 1990 she designs for several
yarn brands. She is also the author of the famous "Cocoknits Sweater
Workshop", an easy to understand, extremely clever tutorial for knitting
Top Down. One of the main tools needed for this technique are several
stitch markers in specific colors. She designed a pretty box to put them
inside and started selling them. After being tired of all the different
tools she also needed for her partly complicated knitting projects, she
invented the Knitters
Keep Kit. A click bracelet with a magnetic surface onto which you could
attach everything a knitter needs: row counter, stitch markers, yarn
snip, tapestry needle and so on. Her next great invention was the
Knitters Block Kit, a set of interlinking foam tiles and t-pins that
facilitate the blocking of knitted garments.
